NISSAN Z: ONLY ONE UNIT PER DEALER FOR 2023 MODEL

Rarity has become a common thing in the automobile industry lately, and it seems like every new car coming in on the market is out of a limited production series. If you go back only a couple of years, the only brands with a waiting list were Ferrari and Rolls Royce. Nowadays, there's a one-and-a-half-year waiting list to get a Toyota Rav4 Prime, and it is said for some models like the New Kia EV6, the waiting list has now passed the 2-year mark. Crazy, isn't it? Well, I think the Covid-19 crisis showed manufacturers that just a bit less unit available made their car rarer and somehow more appealing to customers. I don't know if it's the case here with the new Nissan Z, but the Japanese sports car will undoubtedly be a car that everybody will fight for in order to get their hands on a brand-new unit.
There are some rumors about the new Nissan Z circulating on the web right now concerning the number of allocations each Canadian dealer will get, and it's no good news. Canada's count is about 200 Nissan Dealers, and that's the number of Z we are expecting to come in the country for the first production year, plus a couple of Proto-Spec units for high volume dealers. Technically, dealers can't charge more than the sticker price, and this is things will become attractive for the new Nissan Z. There are definitely more than 200 people who desire to purchase this car in Canada, and even if some of the buyers who will get the car really want to keep it most units fall quickly on the use car market only to be selling for a substantial amount of money. Of course, we can't speculate on this, and it might not happen at all, but if we look at the market in the past two years, used Nissan Z could be selling for 10, 20, or even 30 000 $ more than when they were brand-new.
A Modern Classic
What makes the Nissan Z so unique? Well, even if the car is imposing on its own, you will have to look at its history to really understand what the Nissan Z means to the average car enthusiast. Also, it's been more than ten years since a new Z came out with the 370z in 2009, and the 350z came out in 2003 before that. However, the most recent Z is a bit different than these two and doesn't really follow their path. The new Z is more like a modern take on an old classic. The Nissan 240z came out in 1969, and it was quite an impressive car back then. It could deliver outstanding performance for its price, and it was full of tech too. The Nissan 240z was a genuine sports car. The new Nissan Z is a reiteration of this car, and I think the Japanese manufacturer didn't include a number in the name, especially for this reason. Like that, it doesn't seem like it belongs to a specific era.
Anyways, don't let you be fooled by that since the new Z is a very modern car with a modern engine under the hood. The 3.7 liters V6 you found in the 370z has been replaced with a twin-turbocharged 3.0 liters V6 that produce 400 horsepower now. And the best thing about it is you can get it with a stick!
